48 Hours in Copenhagen: What to see, eat & drink

A couple of weeks ago, we headed to Copenhagen on Ed's birthday trip and - shock - now I want to live there (I had the same experience when we went to Amsterdam juuuust pre-pandemic - blog post on that coming soon, there was no point posting it when we couldn't travel). Copenhagen is such a gorgeous city, super chilled and also super chilly. Layer up people!

Same idea as my Rome blog post, the below was my list of places to see/eat/drink etc - we obviously didn't get to all of them, I have added pictures of the ones we did get to. These are all places recommended on blogs of people who live in Copenhagen, the TimeOut travel blog and Condé Nast Traveler - these places are primarily where I do my research for the more unique/local places before I travel somewhere new.

Places to see:

  • Nyhavn- coolest street (coloured houses) & option of boat tour on canal
  • Norrebo- coolest neighbourhood

  • Frederiksberg
  • Christianshavn
  • Louisiana Museum of Modern Art

I hope this post is helpful if you have a Copenhagen trip planned, or that it inspires you to plan one! Let me know. Also, FYI: no masks needed ANYWHERE in Copenhagen/Denmark apart from the airport. Amazing. Check out my Insta or TikTok for more pics/reels!

Thank you for reading as always,
