My Holiday Diary: Day 5 - Brona goes home, HUGE shopping centre & Great Pizza

We woke on Wednesday for a final breakfast with Brona who was heading back home later that afternoon. Caoimhe and Meave sped off to the beach, while Mom, Dad and I went to drop Brona to the airport, taking a detour into Colombo Shopping Centre on the way back (the largest shopping centre on the Iberian Peninsula no less) and I got very excited at the sight of Sephora (I also may have snuck into Bershka, Primark and Pull & Bear). After a speedy shopping session and a pitstop for some frozen yogurt, we headed back to the house.

T-shirt - ZARA (sale, the previous day)
Shorts - River Island
Shoes - Converse
Lipstick - Rimmel Kate Moss "Kiss of Life"

A lengthy stint by the pool followed, along with some nail touching up, before getting reading for dinner. We ventured into the nearby coastal town of Ericeira where we discovered beautiful cobbled streets lined with white-washed and blue houses, some tiled in a beautifully ornate manner, looking out onto the sea. It is the definition of a dream dwelling.

Dress - Bershka (bought that day!)

We finally landed in a very popular Pizzeria named "Pedro Dura" - it was teaming with people; from tourists with families to cool looking surfer couples and gangs of dreadlocked, surf-haired pals all bonding, laughing and chatting over delicious food and ice cold drinks. The food took a while to arrive as it was so busy (and there's only so much room in a pizza oven) but it was so worth it. I got a "Haivana" pizza - cheese, ham and pineapple - it was so good.

Stuffed to the gills we strolled back to the car, all being forced to closely examine Meave's new hairbraid. THE JOYS.

Thank you for reading!
